Trust has the ability to allow you to benefit from both internal and external resources; it opens you up and exposes the very best parts of you. Self trust enables you to participate in healing utilizing the Wisdom of your Body in partnership with your medical team.
When you trust your doctor and medical team; your mind doesn’t act as a shield that in the spirit of protecting you limits the effectiveness of their treatments.
You have the ability to control what you trust & that can effect your healing. Its up to you.
When your own mind creates subconscious defenses that limits your ability to heal; it is important for you to study what is happening. It may be inner wisdom rejecting your treatment or it may be because your mind is unconsciously reacting to the treatment.
Sometimes reactions are caused by associations to unfinished business you have within you. It is better to approach treatments free from those associations so the Wisdom of your Body can respond to that treatment free from your unfinished business.
You have the ability to preside over your body so approaching treatments is a function of inner wisdom instead of your mind. That requires you to discover the silence beyond thoughts and past conditioning. Becoming comfortable resting your awareness in that silence quiets the mind and its reactions.
Within that silence is the Wisdom of your body and powerful inner resources that is needed for healing. If your awareness is stuck on thinking and past conditioning, you ignore powerful inner resources essential for utilizing your treatments at your full potential.
This is how the patient plays a significant role in healing. When your medical treatments interact with inner resources; you play an important role. If you don’t take control of this minor role; you tend to approach your treatments as a victim and fail to be a significant partner with your doctor.
This may not assure instant healing, but it allows you to become active in a positive way and heal at your full potential.
