I thought about Foster kids and the struggle of growing up without stable role models and then I thought of people in a life threatening situation; they both need inner wisdom.
Not an understanding committed to ideas; but a way to deal with challenges not limited by our mind. Every body has that wisdom, but you only access it when your consciousness goes beyond thinking.
Thinking was taught as the way to deal with any problem, but commitments to thinking can create limitations in healing. Now understanding what I am about to say may seem to be the best thing to do…but experiencing what I am saying is better.
Healing is not an understanding; it is a process the body does automatically to satisfy a program deep within. Our thinking mind can appreciate the healing process and add awareness to it giving it life, but it is the Wisdom of the Body that heals.
So if awareness adds energy to life’s process; why do we get focused on our thoughts when we face a health crisis? If we became aware of the Wisdom of the Body, our awareness would activate it to heal.
Without thinking about it, we live in the conditioned habits we have had as though that is who we are. A health crisis has the ability to take you beyond past conditioning to connect us to that inner wisdom. That happens when the experience of life becomes more important than the thoughts in your mind.
Now how do you make that happen?
Think of healing as a treasure at the bottom of the sea and our thoughts as life preservers we put on. Even though those thoughts seem to save your life, focusing on them keeps you on the surface of the water away from the treasure.
Actually we need both; we need that treasure and we need to understand what is said by our medical partners. This is where the image of a conscious breath becomes a valuable tool. Imagine this with me and experience each part of your breath.
The in-breath becomes conscious when it becomes free from our thoughts and is able to dive into the Wisdom of the Body. That takes an amazing amount of faith but it is required. Then to become a good partner, you have to follow the doctor’s advice and that takes the ability to think.
Fortunately there is an in-breath and an out-breath every time we breathe. Now we have to allow the in-breath to dive for that treasure and the out-breath to capture that experience in understanding.
Now don’t think about this for your thoughts will screw up the flow of healing. Just develop a self trust that is free from your thinking mind and the Wisdom of your body will breathe you. In that breath you are able to receive & manifest perfectly.
Study your breath…does it stop on thinking or does it connect to inner wisdom?
