When you face a hard health challenge and your body doesn’t heal; use that time as an opportunity to heal your deepest inner being or your soul.
This part of you is not reached through understanding, for it exists beyond thinking and exists in silence. Your heart can touch this hidden treasure as long as it lets go of mind’s creations like thoughts and memories.
Sometimes a trauma like an illness or disability forces you to this depth and in the midst of dealing with it; allow yourself the incredible opportunity to enter silence with love.
That simple entry has the power to activate the Wisdom of your Body and stating that there is more to your life than just thoughts and memories. Love entering silence is a spiritual way of saying that your life is important to you.
When someone you love enters the silence beyond your thoughts with love that is a spiritual statement they value your life more than your thoughts and ideas about yourself. Their love has the ability to also activate the Wisdom of your Body.
A relationship that shares silence is like the Wisdom of both Bodies communicating to each other. Imagine a sharing that embraces your life and activates the Wisdom of your Body; wouldn’t you like to spend time with that person?
When a simple glance from a lover triggers your will to live and sentences are completed without words…you share a connection that is not limited to this time and space. That is really not only accomplished by great souls; it is an expression of our deepest inner wisdom. My parents were very normal people, but they shared that quality of love with ease. That tells me everyone can do it.
This doesn’t rely on the creations of our mind like intellect and memory, for it is the expression of consciousness. Now when you deal with a health challenge; why don’t you incorporate that quality as much as you focus on thinking? I believe we can direct our consciousness so it becomes an active part of our healing.
We just have to free ourselves from our mind-made reality and allow the Wisdom of the Body to react to life instead of our past conditioned mind.

What a beautiful message. I just discovered this page after doing a Google search on "spiritual healing".
For readers near Quincy, Massachusetts, USA who are interested, there is a talk on spiritual healing coming up on Thursday, April 5, 2007. It's being given by Malcolm Smith, an internationally reknowned healer from England. For more information, please visit http://www.are-northeast.org/boston/calendar.html.

What a refreshing message, humour in spite of everything, it inspires me! Last week was tough with one week of constant headache (migraine), I feel like I've come out of a fog. At least it never stays the same and I can always look forward to eventually feeling better than I did before. I am determined to get back in to my exercise routine, It's what keeps me able to walk, at least for a while at a time. I did go to your Blog and received more inspiration, actually I printed and bound up your complete book in to a binder and have read it cover to cover, that was over two months ago. It's such a blessing to everyone who reads and benefits from it. Just as I have my crafts and art, your talents are many and I am sure you have helped numerous people with your insight. Go Marc!
