Being legally blind I definitely know the hassles of poor vision, but when I realized my blindness wasn’t going away I decided to focus on the benefits instead of the hassles.
Most people accept themselves if they fit into society. Blind people have to accept themselves by how connected they are to the Wisdom of their Body.
When you accept your priority is to connect to the Wisdom of your Body; you have an unusual advantage to create an inner reality that really serves you.
It was stated in the American Journal of Medicine that the attitude a patient walks into the Doctor’s office with; determines the effectiveness of the Doctor’s treatment. I feel the attitude you live your life determines the effectiveness of your efforts.
If you connect to your inner wisdom; the thoughts in your mind or your past won’t affect your attitude. From that perspective you can connect to the attitude that really serves you.
This is not a passive attitude that makes you feel inferior; wisdom’s attitude is like the Zone great athletes connect to when they exceptionally manifest. It is the state of mind experienced when you feel incredible love or have a deep spiritual experience.
It is not created by thinking a specific way; it is experienced when you go beyond your thinking level and connect to the Wisdom of your Body.
That depth is like accepting your situation with your heart and though you may not like your situation; that depth is the home of your powerful inner resources and you deal with it better.
Nobody can tell you how to think; connect to the Wisdom of your Body and have powerful inner resources deal with what ever you think or do. You may ask for advice, but accept it with inner wisdom so you deal with it consciously and not as a victim.
The art of accepting can be a powerful statement of inner strength or the frustration of giving up. Focus on the Wisdom of the Body and acceptance opens the door to deal with your struggle with inner strength. That simple shift is something you can control…take advantage of that and what ever enters your heart becomes a gift.
Please respond to this & tell me what you think.
