We live in a world that has conditioned us to focus on our thoughts. That is how we know who we are and how other people get to know us, but isn't there more to us than thinking?
Our thoughts are seldom original and our deepest wisdom begins where thinking ends. So what do you identify with? Aspiring to Wellness demands that we go beyond the mind-made reality to be complete.
To consciously aspire wellness, we have to focus on more than the way we were taught to think. It is at that depth we find the Wisdom of the Body; the home of powerful inner resources & that is where wellness comes from.
So if you constantly focus on thinking, even if your thoughts are creative you ignore your greatest resource and begin an endless pursuit of your mind-made reality.
I respect the excitement of discovery; both inner and outer. I also see how I deal with my struggle depends on a depth where thoughts don’t exist, for when you deal with a chronic illness with several disabilities, thinking is not always kind to you.
When my awareness transcends everyday thinking, I find myself connected to inner resources that give me the confidence I can take on any challenge. With real confidence comes the resources needed to deal with any challenge and makes me feel completely independent. I still need the help from experts to deal with challenges, but I do that using my inner resources.
Now with that feeling of independence or depending on what is within; I naturally take care of myself and aspire to wellness. Real aspirations of wellness come from that depth and have few ego limitations connected to it.
Aspiring to wellness is a natural function of our deepest inner wisdom; we just need to learn how to step out of the way so it happens more often.
