Welcome to a world where you have the choice of how you perceive reality. We actually perceive reality the way we want anyway, but with the Life Skills Approach we can perceive it utilizing our deepest wisdom.
In a health crisis, utilizing that perspective will help you deal with your challenge at your full potential. You have the ability to learn from your challenges or be defeated by them and it is totally in your control.
So think for a moment; is the challenge you face going to teach you to better your life or is it going to just be a difficulty you accept as the way things are? I feel challenges are designed to make you a better person, but we have to approach them with an attitude that is willing to grow.
Most people see reality through past conditioning which controls their perceptions. We have the power to consciously condition our mind so we perceive reality differently and that affects the way we respond to our challenge.
I once walked on fire. I was barefoot and stood in front of burning coals that were over 12,000 degrees. Even though that heat was hot enough to melt a car engine, I walked across it barefoot, but I had a secret that protected me.
Now ask yourself; what part of you deals with your challenges? It doesn’t matter if you are facing a life threatening disease, if you are in a wheel chair or you are going to a job interview; you have the power to determine what part of you deals with that challenge.
Just think if you controlled what your body responded to; you can simply by controlling your mind. Go to http://lifeskillsinc.com, download a mini version ofMarc’s book for free. It is possible to create conscious habits so your deepest wisdom responds to challenges.

Let me share how I use this inner wisdom. I have multiple sclerosis and I fall down about twice a day. Falls can really take you into a mental frenzy quickly, but this is how I stopped that. When I fell I wouldn’t get up until I connected to my inner wisdom. It doesn’t matter what part of you falls; the important thing is what part of you gets up.
The Life Skills Approach teaches you how to create habits so these images bubble up naturally without having to think about using them. Then if you find yourself in a situation where negative images seem to bury you, you can mentally trigger the experience that takes you to that special place simply by saying a word or a phrase.
So when you create habits that connects to the Wisdom of your Body; with a simple trigger you can create the images that give you a deep positive experience even if it seems you are walking through fire.
When a person faces a health challenge like a chronic illness or a disability; the thoughts and images in their mind creates what their body responds to.
In my mind I imaged I was walking on cool moss. Even though flames jumped up around my feet, my body responded to the images in my mind. Now just think about that for a moment when you face a serious challenge. Is the stress you experience coming from the external world or do you have the option to create images so you can walk on a cool moss over fire?
thoughtful again ! the challenges we face are going to teach us towards the way of leading our life our own way
