When ever we encounter a tragedy, it is so easy to focus on what goes wrong and ignore the benefits that tragedy offers. I have a chronic illness for over 27 years and I am tired of focusing on my problems; this blog explores the spiritual benefits I have been offered. In a similar way a soldier fights for their life in a war and has incredible spiritual experiences along the way, my war is multiple sclerosis and I have some incredible war stories to share. Of course war is a negative experience, so it takes effort to focus on the brighter side.

I met a man who was an engineer and benefited from his thinking mind his entire adult life. He was now experiencing a chronic fear of death in his retirement. Beyond his conditioned mind, which he identified with exists the inner resources needed to deal with his challenge.
