In a health crisis you can rest your awareness in your thoughts and memories or you can travel beyond thinking and memories and disappear as you venture to your Center. This journey is a statement of Ultimate surrender; for as you proceed you disappear. You surrender your very existence just to enter the moment and cnnect to the Wisdom of your Body. This journey is essential for healing, because at your center are your powerful inner resources needed to heal. At your center you are in the moment and have a profound spiritual experience. Now ask yourself; is the Center worth my existence?

When a person deals with accepting their illness, the first thing they have to consider is what part of them is doing the acceptance. Their illness is a major issue, but how it is accepted is your most important concern. I will use the analogy of moving to show you what is involved in accepting your situation. I recently moved from blocks from the beach in Santa Monica California to downtown Ann Arbor Michigan. How I adapted there is like how we need to accept a health challenge. Our breath is the vehicle that carries consciousness. What we breathe into gives it life. If we breathe into thinking it makes those thoughts seem as reality. We have to learn how to control our breath so we give life to the parts of us that serves our goals. In healing we want to give life to the Wisdom of the Body, for that is the part of us that heals. Learn to aspire to the depths of your body using breathing instead of understanding.

I work with people who
would be considered in a crisis. The usual relationship to relate to these
people is pity, but I think they may be the luckiest people I know. They have
an opportunity to turn the normal everyday life where we have learned to adapt
to thinking into a spiritual adventure. The basic key to how to deal with a crisis is to take control of how you interpret what is happening to you. Your body responds to your interpretations; a conscious interpretation can turn a crisis into an amazing spiritual event. Take control of how you interpret what happens to you.
