I work with people who
would be considered in a crisis. The usual relationship to relate to these
people is pity, but I think they may be the luckiest people I know. They have
an opportunity to turn the normal everyday life where we have learned to adapt
to thinking into a spiritual adventure. The basic key to how to deal with a crisis is to take control of how you interpret what is happening to you. Your body responds to your interpretations; a conscious interpretation can turn a crisis into an amazing spiritual event. Take control of how you interpret what happens to you.
Now just think of that for a moment. Our normal thoughts
and perceptions trigger more thoughts and memories. Many people have a
wonderful reality to fall back on, but if you do or you don't that reality is
really fabricated by your mind. Your memories may trigger nice
experiences...but they are still created by your mind.
A crisis that creates a black and white reality has the
power to force you beyond your mind created reality and that is truly a
blessing. Unfortunately when most people face that black and white reality;
they grasp out for thoughts that represents the normal. If that desperateness
was to relax and simply observe what happens, a deeper inner wisdom would guide
them instead of there old thought patterns.
Now that is definitely the beginning of a new chapter in
your life and we need to learn how to appreciate those crisis moments.
I feel a person that is lead to that depth has to relax and
surrender there. In our everyday lives; that depth creates panic. In the moment
those times are more than memorable they are spiritual. If we were able to go
to that depth and consciously deal with our struggles…the struggle that brought
us to that depth is not as significant as the fact that we have arrived.
I recently visited a Blog at http://disabilityandlivingspirit.blogspot.com/
and found the spirit I was talking about. I think this spirit is available in

Literature is a kind of intellectual light which, like the light of the sun , may sometimes enable us to see what we do not like.
