A Healthy way to be Sick; Taking Responsibility for how you Breathe

When we have no answers to the challenge we face in a health crisis, we naturally turn to the experts. They often have the answer but not always. So what are we to do...play the role of a victim? I feel a health crisis has one amazing benefit; when you don't have answers you are forced to go beyond thinking and that is where we find the Wisdom of the Body.

OK, But how do we get there?

Nature prepared us for that dilemma by putting the Wisdom of the Body beyond our thoughts. So when we are forced to go beyond our limitations we find a healthy way to be sick. This may not be the cure we are looking for, but makes us better able to respond to our treatments and allows us to experience a high quality of life as we heal.

If you focus on thinking or worries; your own mind creates the stress that limits your immune system. If you focus on your breath that emerges from the Wisdom of the Body; your breath will simply transport you to the depth of inner wisdom.

When awareness transcends the limitations of thinking; you give life to your inner wisdom, the quality of your love and spiritual experience deepens as the body's ability to heal is free from any mental limitation. Then you naturally become a partner with your doctor utilizing powerful inner resources to compliment the treatment.

This all can happen as your body deals with a health crisis; as your breath takes you beyond mental limitations, creativity emerges from the same depth the body's healing comes from. So take responsibility of how you breathe.

When you really take that responsibility the best thing you can do is allow the Wisdom of the Body to breathe you. Breathing without mental interference creates a conscious breath. This naturally happens in deep sleep and the body refurbishes itself; so why can't you strive for that during your awake hours?

We can create conscious breathing habits but it takes a special effort to do. We all have the ability to do it but because of our old habits we ignore it. Then there comes a health crisis and you are forced to change on that level or you will suffer. Take that challenge and turn your challenge into an opportunity to grow.

  • Ultimate Healing; Mind/body
When you look at an ultimate healing; you have to consider the mind of the patient as you focus on healing the body. If you heal the body without healing the mind there really isn’t a complete healing. In this article we look at how thinking habits can easily be changed so the way illness is interpreted supports the healing process. What we think in our mind has immediate effects on the experience of the body. Our interpretations have the ability to increase the stress we feel and stress has an influence on our immune system and how we respond to medical treatments. We have the power to control our interpretations and if that helps our medical treatments only 10%; it is a good idea to look at that part of our life seriously. The creations of our mind aren’t how we can cure our illnesses; but if the way we use our mind limits us in any way we have to correct that to heal at our full potential. We have the power to create new thinking habits so we interpret reality differently. If the way we think can influence our health only 10%, that increase is nothing to ignore. 10% of a million dollars is significant and a 10% in healing is significant also.
