Consciously Reconditioning Your Subconscious for Love, Work and Quality of Life
The subconscious mind plays such a significant part in our life, it determines how we interact with the world. Imagine if you could look through the eyes of the most conscious you and deal with your greatest challenge. Unfortunately, we tend to see the world through the eyes we have been conditioned to see through. That means all of the limitations, the fears and guilt we learned, influence the way we see the world. Most people do not think they have a choice of how their sub-conscious mind works; we just accept it as that is who I am.
As we breathe in, we give life to where our breath lands. We breathe into our thoughts and give life to both our fears and dreams. We breathed into how we were related to, for that was the only identity we were taught and we gave it life. Over time, that became the identity we accepted. Beyond our conscious thoughts and our subconscious conditioning is a “you” not created by your mind.
If all we give life to is the identity created by our mind, how can we explore the Unknown?
Let us look at the beauty of the Unknown:
• Beyond our thoughts is the Wisdom of the Body, the home of powerful inner resources.
• We best aspire to spiritual challenges from this wisdom. We heal better and perform at a higher standard in whatever we do.
• Time is really a creation of our mind, for the past and future exist as thoughts in the moment. Wisdom lives and thrives in that moment.
• The quality of life, the quality of our love and the quality of simply being is the most pure when it is wisdom’s expression.
When we are victims to our past conditioning, we accept it as though that is just the way my life is. It is not until we get challenged
, like facing the threat of death ,that we even tend to venture beyond the conditioned mind. We often say when that happens, we were scared to death. Going beyond the “you” you identify with is entering the Unknown, which is a death threat to our conditioned ego.
Just think, If you could develop conscious habits so you accepted your inner wisdom instead of being a victim to past conditioning. Your self image would seem to dance with the Wisdom of the Body every time you express yourself. You would trust the Wisdom of the Body more than you trust the creations of your mind and all limitations which your mind created would never touch you.
It requires surrender to exist in that state of mind, so when you let go of the mind’s creation, wisdom keeps you alive. When you let go, wisdom breathes you. A stress-free breath floats through you and you become super-conscious of the moment you are living in.
You have the power to live in that conscious moment and consciously reconditioning your mind is essential to make that happen.

Oakley defined sport performance sunglasses. Today, along with athletes like Lance Armstrong and Brian Lopes, we continue to redefine it.

I source all of my inspiration from Magic Johnson, LA Lakers superstar/MVP. The victims in life often face great adversity but, ultimately, confronting your fears head on always pays off in great dividends. It only took Magic two weeks to fully accept that he would be living with this for his life. However, he not only avoided the possibility of developing deadly AIDS by getting tested early but also ended up giving back to the greater community in more ways than anyone who followed the franchise could possibly imagine.

I'm also happy to report that, as of yesterday, I'm back to work.

Aimee,
That's a great question. Being so focused on WHERE THINGS COME BACK and getting it ready for bookshelves hasn't allowed for much talk of a second novel. Because it's such a long process (usually 18 months at least from contract to shelves), there isn't any rush in seeing a second book. My agent has, however, read much of the one I'm working on and has discussed it with me. As far as their approval of my approach to writing-it isn't really something that's an issue...at least not as far as I can tell. I think they've worked with enough writers to know that we all have our own systems of getting the job done.
I'm also happy to report that, as of yesterday, I'm back to work (slowly but surely) on novel # 2.
Thanks,

Don,
I was about to tear your comment to shreds, but I do need to ask a legit question first:
Where do you draw the line between a commercial work and noncommercial work? What's the difference to you?
